Per Capita
Per capita funding is how Presbyterians mutually share the costs of coming together to discern the Spirit’s leading for the future.
The 2008 General Assembly per capita is $5.79 per church member. While presbyteries may pass along the cost of the General Assembly per capita ($5.79) and the Synod of Living Waters per capita ($3.62) to its constituent congregations, Holston Presbytery pays the per capita cost for its congregations from the presbytery’s General Mission Budget.
