Watauga Avenue Church opens their coffee house each Friday from 7:30 pm until Midnight at 610 East Watauga Avenue. This ministry of hospitality is geared toward young adults, college aged and beyond and offers a weekly program. (Click above for programs…)

Applications are being accepted for the Winter, 2009 program of the new Young Adult Intentional Community at Montreat Conference Center. Beginning January 8, 2009 through April 30, participants will explore (1) living in a community, (2) spiritual practices, and (3) service learning as a way of discerning vocation and faithful discipleship. YAM Jam Conference will gather leaders from across the PC(USA) May 27-30, 2009 at Austin Seminary. Folks engaged in aspects of Young Adult Ministry (17-30) will spend time together in order to cooperate, encourage and stimulate each other’s ministries - similar to a musician’s “jam” sessions.
