King College , founded in 1867 by Holston Presbytery, is a four-year private liberal arts college located in Bristol, Tennessee, only 20 minutes from Tri-Cities Regional Airport. Located in the foothills of the beautiful Southern Highlands region, yet less than two miles from downtown Bristol, King has the quiet and beauty of a campus retreat with all the activities and benefits of the Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia region.

Lees-McRae College, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) is a small, private college nestled in the mountains of northwestern North Carolina. Founded in 1900 by the Reverend Edgar Tufts to meet educational and spiritual needs in the area, the purpose of the college is to fulfill its motto, "In the mountains, of the mountains, and for the mountains," while extending its ministry of education and service to diverse populations. As a baccalaureate college with a varied and challenging curriculum embedded in a liberal arts core, Lees-McRae provides both the knowledge and the skills to prepare the student for a productive and satisfying life.

Tusculum College  remains true to its origins as a church-related institution of higher learning in the civic republican tradition by developing educated citizens distinguished by academic excellence, public service, and qualities of Judeo-Christian character. The College uses innovative approaches to teaching and learning at the undergraduate and Master's levels to instill factual knowledge, cultivate the habits of practical wisdom, and develop the skill of reflective thinking, all necessary for personal success in a democratic society.

Grandfather Home for Children  is a nonprofit family service agency providing residential services and counseling for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Services are provided in cottage groups of 6 to 8 residents. Planning and counseling services are also provided for the families of children in placement.


The purpose of the Sunset Gap Community Center, Inc. is to EXTEND the gospel of Jesus Christ, by PROVIDING programs that contribute to physical, social, and spiritual growth while MAINTAINING teaching, training, and service without prejudice so that all shall know the dignity and worth that is theirs as a people of GOD.

Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries, Inc. helps individuals with developmental disabilities maximize their quality of life.  They enable people to grow spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotiionally and socially in a manner which leads to full inclusion in society.  Evergreen respects and promotes the rights and dignity of individuals while enhancing independence through responsibility, characterized by Christian concern.
